Originally published in 1943, Mineral Club History documents the development of mineral clubs in the United States at that time. The book is divided into seven chapters: Early Organizations, California Clubs, the Pacific Northwest region, the Rocky Mountain region, the Mid West Region, the Atlantic Coast Region, and Federations. There is an Appendix titled ‘Founding a Mineral Society’ with great and still relevant suggestions for starting a new club. The book is long out of print and hard to obtain.
